“Kelly, Now you’re an eleven year old girl and you truly can’t pick up your clothes?” Her mother asked.
Kelly really didn’t like it when parents asked you questions and when you said anything you would get in trouble.
“Um… well er I-”
Her mum stoped her. “There is no good answer”
Get the point?
“Anyway, hurry or you’ll be late for the bus”
And guess what, she was!
Kelly met up with her best friend Lara. On the way to school, she kept seeing gnomes with pick-axes.
“Kelly, that gnome wasn’t there yesterday” Lara Exclaimed.
Kelly is afraid of gnomes and Lara is afraid of pick-axes. that would mean this would be extra scary. They got to school and saw an evil grinning gnome Kelly ran into the school as fast as she could.
“Mrs. Benline, do you know what that gnome’s doing there?” Kelly asked the maths teacher. ”It wasn’t there this morning!”
“Well, how am i meant to know?” Mrs. Benline said angrily!
School passed and Kelly and Lara were so board.
“Finally the end of school,” Lara rejoiced. “come play in fifteen minutes?”
“OK, see ya” Kelly said over the pouring rain.
Kelly got home and ran straight up to the mirror.
“One. two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight…” Kelly counted until fifty eight and then started to do a very strange dance.
“I earned one i Earned a freckle!” I said really excitedly!
“Mum mum mum, I earned a freckle!!” She said over excitedly!
“Oh, well done honey, I told you you were gonna be late for the bus.
Kelly got home and got changed really fast and then got some chocolate and stuck it in her pocket, then ran to Lara’s house. She walked quietly to Lara’s front door because Lara had gnomes in her garden. As soon as she got to the s\front door, she turned around just to see a gnome turn it’s head to look at her.
“Watch out, Kelly” the gnome said in a low voice.
Her heart pounded like a giants booming voice inside her. She quickly hurried inside.
Do you wanna go to the park?” Lara asked
“OK extra slip on the slide!” I said back excitedly.
Kelly and Lara walked to the park in the pouring rain, Kelly kept looking back in case of any gnomes.
“Baggs slide first” Lara said unexpectedly.
Kelly then ate one of her chocolates.
While Lara was slipping on the slide and Kelly on the swings, they didn’t notice the little tiny people getting ready to charge.
“CHARGE” said the little tiny gnomes.
“Did you hear anything?” asked
“No,” Lara said. “Oh yeah, do you see that right there?”
The gnomes charging looked like grass was walking towards them.
“Team one, go smash up the seesaw” One big gnome said, “Team two, smash up the slide, team three, get the girls.”
After 5 minutes, the play ground looked like a big dog had come and chewed up the play ground.
“STOP!” Kelly screamed. She was so scared but was so exited that she got control of the gnomes. “What would I have to give you to stop breaking the play ground?”
“Free access to your computer?” One asked.
“To get to live in your garage?” Another asked
“Honey?” One small gnome asked.
“HONEY, NO!” All the rest bellowed.
“Get them!” The main gnome screamed.
Their tiny hands felt like stones on their backs. Soon enough, one of Kelly’s chocolates fell on the ground.
“Chocolate,” one gnome screamed.
“CHOCOLATE!” The rest screamed.
“If we give you a whole load of chocolate, would you stop smashing up the play ground?”
“YAY, yes,” all the gnomes shouted.
Kelly and Lara walked home in the pouring rain, and then Kelly had a thought.
“Do we have enough money for all this chocolate?”
“Um… no I don’t think we do, never mind!” Lara said smiling
